Origin Story is a competitive tableau-building and trick-taking game for 15 players in which everyone is crafting their own superhero from scratch. Over five rounds each representing a chapter in your hero's development you reveal your backstory, recruit allies, acquire gadgets, and build a grudge against your archenemy before unleashing your ultimate ability.

Each round you win cards to add to your player mat, then charge and activate them to score points. Brains, love, speed, and strength all play a role, and the combination you build determines your playstyle. The solo mode uses an Automa system, and the whole game fits in a compact box with minimal table space required.
