Disney Afternoon Collection, Volume 1 includes three complete games inspired by classic Disney Afternoon shows: DuckTales, Goof Troop, and Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers. Each volume is packaged to resemble a VHS box set, with each tape represented by its own standalone game box.

Staying true to the theme, each game is built around an episode style premise from its series. In DuckTales, one team protects Scrooge McDucks lucky dime while the other team, led by Magica De Spell, tries to steal it. Goof Troop is a competitive showdown where Goofy and Pete turn everyday yard work into absurd, escalating one upmanship. Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers puts the Rescue Rangers on the case in a scenario inspired by the shows caper of the week energy.

All games in Disney Afternoon Rewind feature new artwork by James Silvani, known for his work on Darkwing Duck and Chip n Dale comics. The design team includes Nathan Weisman (Marvel Villainous), Andrea Chiarvesio (Cyberpunk 2077: Gangs of Night City), and Stefano Moscardini (Marvel United Multiverse).
