This is a faithful reproduction of the cipher disk employed by the US Army Special Forces (Green Berets) throughout the Vietnam War and the Cold War era.

Developed with input from a Special Forces soldier who used the system in the field and authored the original instructions and historical documentation, the DIANA system was widely used by individual operators, A-Teams, B-Teams, and communication stations across Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. Encrypted messages were transmitted via high-frequency radio using Morse code for added security.

Considered unbreakable when paired with a One-Time Pad, this cipher is believed to be the last physical wheel-based cipher used by the U.S. military and has remained largely confidential until now.
