Stars of Akarios is a cooperative campaign game where players defend their home planet Medellia from unknown enemies. The game features space combat, world exploration, space exploration, and player progression.

Players command pilot ships alongside Captain Soma, exploring hostile worlds whilst managing resources and upgrading abilities. The 200-page scenario book offers multiple storylines, with eight unique pilots (four initially available) and ten distinct ships to choose from. Players can customise their experience with over 165 upgrade cards across weapons, engines and technology.
