Warlords was the game that guaranteed every Atari 2600 household had four controllers. Warlords took the mechanics of PONG and Breakout and twisted them into an intense, small-screen brawler. Game Informer, which ranked Warlords as the 25th best game of all time, called it the original trash-talking four-player combat game.

You destroy your enemies castle by getting shots past their shield. When a fireball hits, part of the castle wall is destroyed. Destroy enough of the wall and you can get a shot through to hit the Warlord in the castle keep. One hit to the Warlord and that player is out for the round.
